2.4.2 is a patch release that addresses a number of issues within the Core by Premier Software and College by Premier Software applications.

New Features & Enhancements

  • The “Reservations Made” report can now be exported to Excel in a more friendly format using the “export” button on the Reports screen.


The following improvements have also been made to the software in this release:

  • Fixed a crash when scheduling a marketing job from an existing marketing selection
  • Web booking now shows availability for staff members who have overlapping rotas
  • The “room charge” signature slip now includes the appointments details for clients booked into a twin-room at the same time
  • Corrected the calculation of the reservation deposit that had been paid and needs to be refunded when the original deposit was greater than the amount required
  • Corrected the messages saying “the deposit amount must be greater than zero” or “the refund amount must be negative” when refunding a reservation deposit and changing the amount to refund
  • Printing a pricing structure now only prints the pricing structure currently selected. It also no longer includes inactive items.
  • The “total spend” fields on the client card “spend” tab no longer include change given as part of the calculation
  • The A4 receipt no longer includes the £ character that displayed even with sites using a different currency
  • Fixed the “your marketing selection could not be retrieved” error message when including an appointment type or appointment category as “mandatory” on a marketing selection
  • Added validation to the Automatic Pricing administration screen that prevents incorrect auto-pricing entries to be created – e.g. end date before the start date
  • Fixed a crash when selecting the “unarrived” option of the Arrivals screen
  • The Repeat Booking screen no longer includes inactive staff members
  • Partial payments towards items that are “on account” are now calculated correctly, allowing the “Client Items on Account” report to still show items that have only been partially-paid
  • It is no longer possible to create a stock item with a reference longer than 20 characters, which caused the application to crash
  • “not available” slots no longer prevent a staff rota from being ended
  • Improved the rounding calculation of the “Projected Revenue” for membership payments using the “daily” projected method, which splits revenue more equally across pro-rata months
  • The e-mail/mail merge button on the Reports screen now still allows a membership report to be exported to a CSV file if no e-mail settings are configured
  • The Client and Reservation tabs on the reservation scheduling screen now display the diary in the most appropriate intervals based on all staff members (e.g. 10 minutes if all columns are 10-minute columns) instead of always showing 15 minutes
  • Appointments on the clipboard now allow associated equipment to be used with another appointment

The following improvements have been made to the College by Premier Software application in this release:

  • Suspending a lesson now identifies if there are appointments that are part of that lesson
  • Fixed a crash when moving internal appointments off the new clipboard in the Lesson Booking screen
