How do requests come in?
When a client makes an appointment request, you receive an instant alert on your desktop. This doesn’t interfere with any programs or tabs you have open, and will remain visible until the request is dealt with so you don’t miss anything. Click on the alert to bring up the request details, pop the appointment in either your Premier Spa or Premier Salon system, and respond to the client with a quick SMS confirming the appointment.
Why do you use SMS to respond to clients?
SMS is a much more popular way to communicate than phoning or emailing – it’s immediate and convenient. Providing this convenience to your clients means they are more likely to make requests.
Will the appointment alerts just be sent to our salon computer?
You can receive the alerts on multiple computers, as well as on mobile devices.
How does gappt integrate with Premier Software?
gappt automatically picks up changes in Premier Spa or Premier Salon, allowing your last-minute availability to be promoted to your clients via your website and their mobile phones. If you cancel an appointment in your Premier Spa or Premier Salon system, a notification can automatically go out to those specifically waiting to come in. Clever!
How long does gappt take to set up?
You can be up and running with gappt within a matter of hours with the Quick Reset Panel on your website. The salon-branded mobile app typically takes 1 – 2 weeks, but in the mean time you can take requests through the Quick Reset Panel.
How is gappt different from online booking?
Online booking involves clients searching for their ideal appointment (compare it to the actual availability being hidden in the ‘stock room’). With gappt, you now have a shop window to promote your last-minute availability. This is picked up automatically from your Premier Spa or Premier Salon system and allows you to drive demand to specific availability.
How do I deal with colour appointments through gappt?
Before confirming an appointment, gappt gives you full control of communicating with your clients about the particulars of their request. Before submitting the request, they will need to specify if they’ve had a patch test in the last 6 months.
Will I have to use all gappt solutions?
We recommend that as a business you will benefit more from using the whole platform as you can receive six times more the bookings; however you can just opt to use one platform, such as gappt for web.
Can I manage gappt by myself?
Yes, simply login to the gappt platform. You can modify your app dependent on which package you have.
