Low Ponytail

A timeless classic, the low ponytail is easy to achieve and can be dressed up or down. Whether your client wants to achieve a messy (wet) look or slick back, the low ponytail is the ideal choice when you want to keep that spring breeze from blowing your tresses out of place.

Inspired by Twiggy/60s

This year we’re travelling back in time to the swinging 60s with Twiggy-inspired make-up. Hot off the catwalk, this make-up trend was huge once and we know it’ll make a storming comeback after being seen in shows such as Rochas, Jean-Pierre Braganza and Nicholas K. Match up this look with a low ponytail for a really sleek look.

The braid is making a strong comeback this season, going from the classic plait to the fishtail and crown braid. This is the perfect go-to hairstyle for days at the beach and as a trendy up-do choice for any weddings your clients may have this summer. A popular choice already this season, we are sure this will be a style that sees out the season.

As Spring makes a start we tend to see a change from the grungy, smokey-eyed make-up looks to a much more natural appearance. However this year’s fresh-faced trend has gone from a minimal, natural ‘no make-up’ make-up, to glowing skin (accentuated with highlighting and contouring) which is perfect for this time of year when the sun starts making an appearance.
